MORE THAN A GAME
40 Hours of 40K Foundation brings people together through a shared passion for Warhammer 40,000 to support men's mental health and suicide prevention.
What began as a community fundraising event in Edmonton has grown into an annual gathering of players, painters, volunteers, and supporters united by a simple belief: connection matters.
Through our events, we raise funds and awareness for organizations working to support men facing mental health challenges. Since 2023, our fundraising efforts have supported HeadsUpGuys.
From the UK to Canada
In 2022, JP Lacasse traveled to the United Kingdom and experienced the original 40 Hours of 40K initiative supporting Campaign Against Living Miserably (CALM). Introduced to the event by Bobby Clarke from Red Eagle Studio, JP met Andrew Weller, a Warhammer Hero behind the UK initiative.
Inspired by the experience, JP brought the concept home to Edmonton, Alberta. In 2023, he assembled a team of passionate Warhammer enthusiasts from Canada and abroad, launching the first 40 Hours of 40K fundraising event in Canada in support of HeadsUpGuys.
Today, the initiative brings together contributors from Canada, the United States, the United Kingdom, and the Netherlands.

OUR MISSION IN ACTION
40 Hours of 40K Foundation brings the Warhammer community together to raise awareness and funds for men’s mental health and suicide prevention.
Through our annual fundraising event in Edmonton, players, painters, volunteers, and supporters unite around a shared purpose: turning a passion for tabletop gaming into meaningful support for men who need it.
Since 2023, our events have raised approximately $30,000 in support of HeadsUpGuys. As the Foundation grows, our ambition is to extend that support to organizations serving veterans, first responders, and men facing mental health challenges.
